Viện Hàn lâm truyền hình Mỹ vừa công bố danh sách đề cử giải Primetime Emmy Awards 2016. Trong đó, Game of Thrones, The Americans, và The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story nắm giữ nhiều đề cử nhất.
Năm ngoái, tại giải Oscar của thể loại truyền hình này, Game of Thrones vơ vét đến 24 đề cử. Năm nay, Game of Thrones hụt mất một, chỉ còn 23 đề cử nhưng vẫn dẫn đầu danh sách, theo sát gót là O.J. Simpson với 22 đề cử.
Cả hai sẽ đối đầu nhau và cạnh tranh cùng một số ứng cử viên nặng kí khác như The Americans, Homeland, House of Cards, Mr. Robot, Better Call Saul, Downton Abbey để giành giải Phim truyền hình chính kịch xuất sắc.
Dàn sao được yêu thích đóng góp cho thành công của Game of Thrones gồm Kit Harington, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke và Maisie Williams cũng có tên trong danh sách dành giải nam nữ diễn viên phụ xuất sắc.
Lễ trao giải Emmy lần thứ 68 sẽ diễn ra tại Los Angeles (Mỹ) vào ngày 18.9.
